...I got so excited that someone responded over here I didn't even know what to do. How could that be?

You use this site more than LJ, right? Or are you always cross-posting to both? My thoughts on it go like this: someone gifted me a permanent account over there, that's where people are reading and looking (if they actually are), and DW bit off a lot by creating yet another journaling site going after the same people when LJ was already so established. But I like the philosophy over here. I like that there's no quick link to twitter and facebook. I like that it's small and relatively obscure, still. I like that they answer questions and fix bugs and have a dedicated staff. What's your experience been?
